Our story

Built on a quiet conviction.

Synckit was founded in 2018 by Elena Rostova and Marcus Thorne. Having spent years in high-pressure agency environments, we realized that the most profound creative work often happens when you slow down. We left the noise of the commercial grind to build a studio rooted in intention, clarity, and calm.

We are a remote-first studio, but our connection is deep. We believe that great design isn't just about aesthetics—it's about creating systems that allow businesses to breathe and grow sustainably over time.

Our guiding philosophy

Design that breathes.

Create in Harmony. Deliver in Flow.

We don't chase trends. We cultivate aesthetics that stand the test of time. Every pixel we place is a deliberate choice, every interaction we design is a moment of pause.

Core values

The pillars of our practice

Presence

We are fully here for every project. No multitasking, no distractions. Your work gets our undivided attention.

Patience

We resist the rush. By moving at a measured pace, we ensure that every decision is thoughtful and every result is durable.

Partnership

You are not a client; you are a collaborator. We view our relationship as a long-term alliance built on trust and mutual respect.

Purpose

Every project is a vehicle for a bigger idea. We align our creative output with your core mission to create meaningful impact.

Our environment

Where we create

Our studio is a hybrid of physical and digital space. We maintain a small, sunlit physical office in Portland for deep work sessions, but most of our collaboration happens virtually. We use async tools to respect everyone's time, ensuring that communication is clear and intentional rather than constant.

We are committed to a remote-first culture that minimizes commuting and maximizes creative freedom. Our team works from home offices designed to support focus and well-being.

Our promise

Long-term by design.

We reject the transactional model of design. We are looking for partners who want to grow with us over years, not just weeks. When you work with Synckit, you aren't just buying a logo or a website; you are gaining a creative partner dedicated to your long-term evolution.

Sustainability Commitment: We operate as a carbon-neutral studio. We partner with ethical vendors for all our printing and hosting needs, and we offset our remaining footprint through verified reforestation programs.
